Izmir Free Zone organized by Continuing Education Center (İZSEM) at the Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence Panel, discussed the points that companies and employees should pay attention to in adapting to these technologies.

Celal Bayar University Computer Engineering Department Lecturer Dr. Volkan Altıntaş's made the opening speech of the panel in which he was a guest Gürsel Bahçıvancılar, General Manager of İzmir Free Zone (İZBAŞ), pointed out that the most important step in the digital transformation process is artificial intelligence.

Adding that with this great transformation, many professions that make money today will disappear, and many professions that seem dreamy or ridiculous today will bring a serious level of income to their owners, Altıntaş made the following assessment:

“The question 'Will Artificial Intelligence take our jobs?' will be asked more and more frequently. In the coming years, we will see that some of today's professions will not exist, but different professions will emerge. Therefore, we have to constantly improve ourselves. Online shopping, Cloud Computing, Mobile Applications, Virtual Reality and finally Artificial Intelligence are the most important examples of digital transformation. Artificial Intelligence is currently used in many fields such as medicine and engineering. Its applications in daily life are also increasing. Its correct use is extremely critical for individuals and institutions to gain competitive advantage and seize new opportunities. Therefore, when used in the right hands, it can create a technological revolution, but in the wrong hands, it can have a catastrophic effect.”
